Major Lazer has been on a tear with the reggae-ska derivative tunes lately, throwing a hand in producing the Snoop Lion record and now remixing the new No Doubt single, “Settle Down.”

Major Lazer’s remix retains the basic feel and groove of the original, but tweaks it with a jungle-ish party beat and throws in a bunch of sound effects and blips. Most of the lush harmony is also stripped, making it sound more raw. Overall it’s a fun listen—check it out below. The remix premiered on No Doubt’s site last night, and Hypetrak lets us know more remixes are on the way.
