The legendary composer Philip Glass turns 75 this year. To celebrate, his friend and collaborator Beck is spearheading a gigantic remix album of Glass’s work, called “Rework,” set to be released October 23 as a two-CD and two-vinyl set.
Together Beck and Glass recruited a pretty amazing cast of characters to participate, including Tyondai Braxton, Dan Deacon, Amon Tobin, Cornelius, Memory Tapes, Johann Johannsson, Nosaj Thing, Memory Tapes, Silver Alert, Pantha du Prince, My Great Ghost and Peter Broderick.
