
Whoops.
This video of Mitt Romney introducing Paul Ryan as “the next president of the United States” this morning is of course our video of the day, topping off what is now a month-strong rally of gaffes for Romney.
But, hey—it can happen to anyone. Remember the one below from ’08, when John McCain said Obama had been insulting the people of Western Pennsylvania and then said, “and you know, I couldn’t agree with him more”? Of coure, that gaffe did prompt people to speculate McCain was senile.
Mitt, thank you for ushering campaign season into full swing in especially hilarious sytle.
