If you’re thinking of dropping Acid or Magic Mushrooms today, think twice before watching Animal Collective‘s new music video for the track “Today’s Supernatural.” It features Avey Tare as a darkly psychedelic clown riding a dune buggy through the desert, while some person (who might be Avey Tare) wearing a multi-colored Wild Thing-esque mask runs hither and thither.
Avey Tare deserves a ton of credit on “Today’s Supernatural” for sending Animal Collective into a new melange of sound.
Animal Collective’s new album “Centipede Hz” is set for September 3 release.
