A while back a friend turned me on to Future Islands and I was blown away, I tell you. Blown away. But that is not what I am here to tell you about today. What I am here to tell you about is the new Future Islands song – called “Tomorrow” – released on the UK’s Upset The Rhythm label on September 3rd. How good is it? Well… are you wearing pants? This song will rock them right off. Are you wearing a skirt? This will blow up your skirt.

All shitty jokes aside, Future Islands are really coming into their own between this song and their last album. Their astral brand of music – think Meat Loaf meets Joy Division – is honing into one hell of a punch. Try “Tomorrow” on for size and be sure to catch them on tour this fall.
