“A Species Out Of Control”? Perhaps this is some commentary on the human species. Then again, it could be a one sentence polemic against the cockroach or world rat population. Whatever the case, Simian Mobile Disco have dropped their latest video for track “A Species Out Of Control” and it’s nicely hypnotizing.

SMD says of the video: “somewhere between ‘lost highway & ‘late 80′s rave visuals’,,, so pretty out of control, to say the least…” Based on the evidence, I have to agree—there is definitely a Lynchian vibe coupled with particularly psychedelic acid house visuals. Pure fractals, grid patterns, oscillations and vibrant colors. Mmmmmmm skyscraper I love you.
