The timing and framing of this video look a little too convenient to be real—we’re suspicious this is a hoax, but we can’t read Portuguese so it’s hard to tell what people are saying in the YouTube comments.

One person, responding to user QzOOm2007′s claim the video is fake, appears to live in the city and testify to its veracity: “I leaved here not fake, QzOOm2007 kkkkkkk. Bluemauuuuuuuu na fita gentem……”

Right. We’re going to assume that “leaved” means “live” and that this person has seen this kind of thing go down.

In which case…awesome. If we could take Canada’s healthcare and Brazil’s traffic vigilantes, we really would be the greatest nation.
