
We’ve already had the opportunity to announce multiple advance streams from The xx‘s new record “Coexist,” out next week on Sept 11. Today you can hear the whole thing at NPR. Stream it here.
Fans of the band’s minimalist debut won’t be disappointed—the lead-off track is “Angels,” which we’ve heard before, a track so spartan it threatens to evaporate entirely at any second.
At a cursory listen the album seems pensive and dark—just how we like The xx.
