Laurel Halo has taken Lianne la Havas’s soul track “Forget” and rendered it into an incredibly gorgeous bit of neo-Acid House electronica. Stylistically it recalls the best moments of Orbital, Underworld, The Orb and even Aphex Twin’s early dance tracks. The only thing left here from La Havas’s original track is her soulful voice, which is now disembodied, breaking in and out of Halo’s electronic alchemy.

Halo’s remix has one of the prettiest openings of any song in recent memory. Pure bliss. So do yourselves a favor and let ‘er rip.
