The xx debuted a new Four Tet remix of their single “Angels” on BBC Radio the other day prior to their performance with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. In classic Four Tet style, the song is a simple remix that breathes new life into the song. About halfway through the minimalist beat behind the vocals turns into an all out frequency of noise.
Jamie xx went on to say that the song will be released sometime in the future as part of a 12″ also featuring his remix of a Four Tet song. Check out the song below for yourself.
