The “Tai Chi Zero” trailer starts off serious enough, but then a WWF-style voice over artist comes in, everything is suddenly bent toward post-modern absurdity. There’s almost a “Kung Pow” feel to this trailer, which sarcastically explains how the film will have a peasant become a Kung Fu legend, gets his ass kicked, fight robots, have a brain aneurysm, face romantic rejection and encounter steampunk machines.

Hell, there’s no reason to set the stage here, just watch it. Oh yeah, and Peter Stormare is rumored to be in the film.
