
Portland Trailblazers rookie Meyers Leonard has one hell of an origin story. After his dad dies in a freak accident at the age of 6, the family was exteremely poor. Meyers and his brother Bailey had to sleep on a floor with no electricity or water or furniture for a while. When Bailey left to join the Marines for two terms, Meyers stayed behind and played college basketball for Illinois State.
Meyers hadn’t seen Bailey for a couple of years until this moment below, when Bailey surprised his brother before one of his Illinois games. Take a look:
