Many Americans – Mitt Romney included – have seemingly forgotten that we are still at war in Afghanistan. In what is shaping up to be our generation’s Vietnam the most forgotten element is somehow the soldiers who fight for us over there. While the soliders might not know what it is we are still fighting for any better than we do, they are are still fighting strong. Like this guy in the video.

In what seems to be straight out of a Call Of Duty video game yet is in actuality exactly the sort of thing a soldier in Afghanistan faces every day, a helmet-cam captures the soldier being shot on a hillside multiple times. Thankfully he survived. The war in Afghanistan is arguably one of the biggest clusterfucks of misguided political intentions America has ever been involved in. Let’s not forget who is paying the real price out there. It sure ain’t our politicians. It’s brave men and women like this guy.
