If you’re like me and enjoy psychedelic electronic music—any sounds that provoke visions—then Electronique.it‘s “The Expression of Emotions In Man And Animals” EP will be up your alley. It contains excellent tracks by three artists: Valmass, Yard and Planet43. This is the stuff of science fiction dreams. Pop music it is not.

Planet43 delivers an incredible slice of pillowy synth washes and playful yet melancholic synth leads with “Blue Skyways.” With “Gallano,” Valmass just let a Roland TB-303 lead synth line meander and morph through a spare sonic field. Yard’s “Cascade” is probably the most psychedelic. It hypnotizes with its ambient drones before a rumbling bass waveform comes in  alongside subtle percussion. Midway through the track it adopts a House beat, but the emphasis is still on the mesmerizing drones. The entire EP is perfection.
