In last night’s Joe Biden vs Paul Ryan debate, there was a point at which the truly sublime was achieved. It was the moment when Biden truly laid Ryan bare as a total hypocrite with an opportunist streak that is matchless.
When the debate turned to the issue of stimulus money, Joe Biden attacked, calling Ryan out for asking for the cash while publicly railing against the Obama administration for even offering it.
“I love that, I love that. This is such a bad program and he writes me a letter saying, writes the Department of Energy a letter saying, the reason we need this stimulus, it will create growth and jobs. His words,” said Biden. “And now he’s sitting here looking at me. I wish he would just tell the… be a little more candid.”
Ryan’s response? “That’s what we do.”
The man didn’t even deny that he had asked for the stimulus cash. By now it’s well-established that he did, and the GOP, Romney and Ryan can attempt to spin this in any number of ways; but the truth is that Ryan is just as obsessed with pork as every other legislator in the history of the U.S. (with the possible exception of Ron Paul).
The real shame here is that there is such a distortion field surrounding conservative voters in this country, in which they plug their ears and repeat “la, la, la,” that they’ll either conveniently forget that Ryan admitted to the stimulus cash request or come up with a memorable way of excusing it.

"Paul Ryan on asking for stimulus cash: ‘That’s what we do’".
At least He admits to being part of the problem then.
