
Usually giant versions of my favorite foods make me want to hurl. How am I supposed to get my appetite around a five-ton lasagna? I can’t do it. I can, however, get my appetite around a 13-pound sushi roll. That thing looks scrumptious!
Umewaka, a sushi restaurant in Japan, specializes in the gigantic sushi shown here. Their anago sushi (see the picture below) uses multiple eel fillets, lotsa sweet sauce and a massive brick of rice, and goes for just $33!
But that big guy in the picture up top is the one I want four hours in a dark room with. Or a light room! Doesn’t matter. That one’s called lusus naturae and goes for $190 totally-worth-it dollars.
