Obama calls Romney a ‘bullshitter’

According to the latest issue of Rolling Stone Barack Obama called Mitt Romney a “bullshitter” during an informal meeting with Rolling Stone editor (and scribe of aforementioned article) Eric Bates. According to the article, when told that Bates’ 6-year-old supports him, Barack said:

“You know, kids have good instincts. They look at the other guy and say, ‘Well, that’s a bullshitter, I can tell.’”

(Hold for applause)

Mitt Romney – who has backtracked, flip-flopped, and changed horses midstream on every issue debated and even mirrored Obama during some sections of the televised debates – has not commented on the rather salty new nickname Obama picked for him. But when he does, assuredly, Mitt will hem and haw and ultimately think whatever anyone pays him to say.

Romney said he was for 100% of America… There are more people in poverty than ever before… If someone is hurting the middle class, it's OBAMA.

And, Romney is not against women's rights… It's women in the WH that are making 18% less than men… Unemployment for women has been worse than for men under Obama… Under Obamacare women can only get pap smears every 4 years instead of annually- Under obamacare mammograms every 3 years instead of annually– That's the real war on women

So when the Tea Party and other conservatives called Obama the Antichrist, a Muslim, and a socialist, that's acceptable, but calling someone who has demonstrably lied or changed his opinion a bullshitter is jumping the shark? Seems inconsistent, considering there is evidence to support the bullshitter remark, but none for the name-calling that was leveled against Obama with glee for the last 4 years.

ROMNEY didn't call Obama any of those words. The election is between ROMNEY and OBAMA.

And, Obama has flip-flopped (or 'evolved') on ALOT of issues too. Gay marriage (during an ELECTION YEAR), God at the DNC, Transparency (e.g. Obamacare and when was his last press conference?), earmarks, no new taxes for the middle class (or, is that a LIE and not evolving?), etc)

No politician gets in office and does everything that they say they're going to do. And not everyone can fix a shitload of problems in 4 years. We gave Bush 8 years to fuck shit up, won't you give Obama another 4 to fix it. Romney will run this country into the ground, there will be no middle class only the wealthy and the working poor living in relative poverty, and it will just go to prove how backwards and ignorant Americans are.

If you don't make 250000 you really have no reason to vote Romney. He will keep you from reaching the top by cutting programs across the board that helps the middle class live and strive to become people that make that much and given the background of most of the middle class when we make that much we will not care paying a higher tax rate. It's for the greater good. Think long term people.

Believe it or not, our whole way of American living is based on what laws, programs, etc. that our government enacts on our behalf, so in turn we do need government to help out one way or another. Left or right. Except one helps the demos and the other helps the pocket book of a 1% that 99% of America will never see. The middle class are the hardest working people in America, no one can refute that.

There is proof – Videos of Susan Rice on FIVE talk shows. On Sept. 16, five days after the attacks, She repeatedly said that the attacks were “spontaneous” protests that got out of hand and they were motivated by anger to an internet video. On Sept. 18, Obama appeared on the David Letterman Show and was asked if the attack was was an act of war. Obama responded, “No. Here’s what happened. You had a video that was released by somebody who lives here, sort of a shadowy character, that is extremely offensive video directed at Mohammed and Islam, making fun of the prophet Mohammed. And so this caused great offense in much of the Muslim world. But what also happened was extremists and terrorists used this as an excuse to attack a variety of our embassies, including the one, the consulate in Libya.” More than a week after the attack, Obama’s answer on the Letterman show was knowingly and purposefully misleading Americans.

You can look for them yourself if you wish to educate yourself.

Will Stanley Bottom line – we're finding out the members of the WH and State Department WATCHED the Benghazi attack in the Situation Room in the WH. There were marines 1 hour away. And aircraft bases nearby. Obama did NOTHING. Obama can add another title.. Entertainer-in-chief, LIAR-in-chiefn and Coward-in-chief.

Where did you get that information? They watched it towards the end of the attack after there was a drone doing another mission came in, but the problem was they didn't have an actual visual on the ground. Due to the fact that they had no visual, flying the marines in through Libyan air space can very easily be seen as an act of war. They asked for increased security for the embassy before the attack, but the Republicans refused funding. They waited to go in, because they had CIA members heading to the Embassy to get a visual on the situation. When that visual came in with the CIA members, they sent people in to get a handle on the situation.

The other point that is so frequently brought up, "Did/does Obama think this was the result of terrorism?" The issue that people don't look at, because they don't know about these issues well, is that terrorism has a legal definition now, which is used by the FBI for investigations and criminal prosecutions. Because the attack was on the US Embassy and the Embassy is sovereign US soil, which means it is the FBI's jurisdiction. Obama held off on using the word terrorism, because he wanted to allow the FBI to do their investigation without someone coming back and saying the president called it terrorism, and knows that it is a legal term. He actually thinks carefully before speaking.

Now, does he agree with the mainstream opinion of the word terrorism? Yes. It is clear he does. People claiming that the phrase "act of terror" is Obama playing with words need to understand that it is because we have given terrorism a legal definition, with legal consequences. He used that phrasing because it allows the FBI to do an untainted investigation. He clearly spoke to the fact that this was the mainstream kind of terror attack.

Whether you dislike Obama waiting or not, it was a choice that was made based on larger considerations. I hear Republicans constantly go on about the brilliant Ronald Reagan who was bold and a defining character for national security. I have to ask though, did Reagan not do a similar thing with the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing?

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1983_Beirut_barracks_bombing

Understanding that a knee jerk response of retaliation will have farther negative affects on our country and our service members. I have no doubt that the people responsible for the attack will be handled with justice, but it will be done so in a responsible way, while recognizing other nations' sovereignty. Just as the buck stops with Obama for blame, the buck stops with him for his administration's credit for correct actions. After so many years, he and his administration, which includes the Navy Seals, as he is the Commander-in-Chief, got Osama, and they will do the same here, with proper attention to collaboration with other nations. You may not feel this is necessary or makes the United States look weak, but it is one of the best ways to strengthen ourselves, by restoring faith in our actions to other countries. It is a long process and an imperfect one, but a necessary one.
