Watch Drake’s high school graduation speech
R&B sweetie pie Drake received his high school diploma last week, then headed to Toronto’s Jarvis Collegiate Institute (which he did not attend), to deliver a graduation speech about “following through” to an assembly of graduates.
Drake left high school at 15 to play Jimmy Brooks on “Degrassi: The Next Generation,” then a decade later went back to school to close the “gaping hole” he left in his “story of following through.” It’s a sweet, sentimental speech—very Drake-like all around. And at the end, he dedicates his diploma to his mom, a retired school teacher. Nice one, Drizzy!
