Red Bull Studios London presents ‘I Am Benga’, a new six-part series that takes an exclusive look into the life of Benga, one of the UK’s heavyweight electronic-music superstars. The series takes viewers from Benga’s early life in Croydon and the emergence of dubstep, to becoming an electronic tour de force across the globe. Episodes also chart his inauguration at Radio 1, his explosion onto the music scene and move from the underground to household name.

“I Am Benga” charts the highlights of his year to date including being flown by helicopter into Snowbombing, releasing a host of new solo tracks from forthcoming album “Chapter II,” and playing his first ever live solo showcase of new material at London’s KOKO.

Commenting on the project, Benga said “I’m incredibly excited about the series. I can’t wait to show everyone the amazing things I’ve been part of! There’s a great buzz around the show and everyone will get to see what’s next for me!”

Having received support from Red Bull Studios throughout his music career, Benga now shows us all aspects of his world, from his front room to the studio, festival appearances and beyond, as we document his explosion onto the music scene. The Red Bull Studio has not only helped Benga to produce new music, it has also broadcast his latest material to an audience of international music lovers.
