Dan Deacon’s ‘Wish Book Vol 1′ mashes up your favorite guilty pleasures

It’s easy to get in trouble with the word brilliant, but I’m pretty sure Dan Deacon’s new “Wish Book Vol. 1″ is brilliant.

Over 5 songs he manages to mash Grimes with “Gangnam Style,” LCD Soundsystem’s “Someone Great” with “Single Ladies,” and also gets everyone from Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, and Skrillex in there to Animal Collective, Beach House and Dirty Projectors. Oh, and The Beatles. Amazingly, it all sounds absolutely awesome. Take a listen, and read along below for the full cast of characters below via the liner notes.
