Watch The Polyphonic Spree’s trippy ‘Silver Bells’ video

In the Polyphonic Spree’s latest and final installment of their “13 Days of Polyphonic Xmas,” the band drops a trippy as fuck cover of “Silver Bells,” with School of Seven of Seven Bells accompanying. (Polyphonic Spree’s Tim DeLaughter and SOSB’s Ben Curtis were formerly in the band Tripping Daisy in the ’90s.)

In the “Silver Bells” video, two alien children go on an intergalactic journey through space and experience a psychedelic Christmas here on Earth. Very Flaming Lips-inspired. Then again, that’s kind of been the Spree’s game from inception, no?

The song appears on the band’s latest LP “Holidaydream,” the first since 2007′s “The Fragile Army.”
