Dennis Kucinich, who before recently announcing his retirement from politics served 16 years as one of the most progressive voices in Congress and ran for president twice in the role of guy who was so far to the left he never stood a chance, has signed on as the latest contributor at Fox News.
After the election Roger Ailes surprised us all by admitting a chink in the neocon armor and suspending Karl Rove from Fox News for 27 days. Now, he’s just gone and scrambled our minds:
“I’ve always been impressed with Rep. Kucinich’s fearlessness and thoughtfulness about important issues,” Ailes said. “His willingness to take a stand from his point of view makes him a valuable voice in our country’s debate.”
Roger Ailes praising Dennis Kucinich: That’s it, guys, monkeys just flew out of my butt and hell froze over. Sure, this is just an attention-grabbing ratings play to make up some ground they’ve lost to MSNBC, but it’s still a pretty shocking move.
For his part, Dennis said:
Through 16 years in Congress and two presidential campaigns, Fox News has always provided me with an opportunity to share my perspective with its enormous viewership I look forward to a continuation of our relationship this time as a Fox News contributor.
Translation: It pays is fantastic.

Fox has always had numerous Democratic and liberal contributors, as opposed to MSNBC which has virtually no one from the right. And of course they actually have hard news, also absent from MSNBC.
What better place for Kucinich to go than a channel where you can actually hear two sides of an issue.

Morning Joe on MSNBC, Joe's a pretty conservative guy.

Joe is fine, not terribly conservative at all any more – very much a moderate. I have nothing against that but he is pretty much the only one other than S. E. Cupp who co-hosts "The Cycle" with that loon Toure' – other than that, no hard news and no conservatives other than Michael Steele showing up occasionally. When I watch Fox I don't watch to hear a conservative viewpoint; I watch to hear debate.

Michael Steele is on Hardball almost every night and he's on Morning Joe at least three times a week. Other then Deniis Kucinich, who's really a fringe personality, who else is a regular on any Fox show?
January 17, 2013 at 8:06 pm, Craig Berlin said:
Dennis is fringe? Wow. Kirsten Powers, Joe Trippe, Juan Williams, Leslie Marshall, Alan Colmes and Bob Beckel are all on nightly or frequently (and often during the day) and Beckel co-hosts "The Five" daily. Juan sometimes guest-hosts the O'Reilly Factor. There are others as well but those are the ones I remember off the top of my head.
Hannity and O'Reilly have different Democrats on every night and there is usually one on "Red Eye" as well.

Who are the numerous liberals on Fox? Name one and don't say Greta.
January 19, 2013 at 4:50 pm, Craig Berlin said:
Again Robin, you seem to not be able to read my comment above nor do you ever actually watch Fox, but just parrot left-wing talking points and say stupid immature things like "Faux…"
Let's try it again:
"Kirsten Powers, Joe Trippe, Juan Williams, Leslie Marshall, Alan Colmes and Bob Beckel are all on nightly or frequently (and often during the day) and Beckel co-hosts "The Five" daily. Juan sometimes guest-hosts the O'Reilly Factor. There are others as well but those are the ones I remember off the top of my head."
Now you can add Dennis Kucinich.
Please provide names of all the conservatives who regularly appear on MSNBC. I can think of two, and only one in the evening.
The best fact-checkers in the world are people who don't agree with you. MSNBC doesn't waste much time with anyone like that.

These people are only on as guests. MSNBC always has on conservative guests.

I wouldnt call Juan Williams a liberal.

Also MSNBC fact checks their sources where Faux does not. Proven.
January 19, 2013 at 4:47 pm, Craig Berlin said:
Robin, please provide "proven" sources for MSNBC's fact-checking and Fox's lack thereof. The whole NBC News organization has been proven compromised after editing George ZImmerman's 911 tape to make him look like a racist.
There is NO hard news on MSNBC – NONE. There's a fact for you. Like many other Fox critics, you obviously never watch any but why would you? It might challenge your prejudices and we wouldn't want that.

Ed Schultz for one has been very specific about how MSNBC fact checks their sources.Fox on the other hand has been caught in so many lies and airing out of context. It is not considered a news channel by the FCC. It is entertainment.
