Coachella 2013 lineup was announced Thursday night, proving once again that the Red Hot Chili Peppers are the cockroaches of rock—they will never, ever die. Seriously, the Chili Peppers headlined Lollapalooza II twenty one years ago and they’re still headlining the closing night at Coachella 2013.

Other headliners: Phoenix, a fun choice for the middle night, and a tag-team of Blur and Stone Roses for the opening night.

This is the second consecutive year when Coachella will sprawl out over two identical weekends, April 12-14 and 19-21.

Some other notable faves in the mix this year: Beach House, Purity Ring, Wu Tang Clan, the XX, Sigur Ros, Vampire Weekend, Hot Chip, Grizzly Bear, New Order, Bat for Lashes, Major Lazer, Wild Nothing, Spiritualized, Foals, Dinosaur Jr. — Even without mind-melting headliners it still seems almost worth the $349 ticket price.
