Because we are apparently living in a world where we eat horses and the sky is falling, the United States Postal Service has started their own clothing line.
The bureaucratically raped (and universally used) institution has been hemorrhaging cash after Republicans decided that it should pay the pensions of employees for the next 70 years (really) (no really that’s actually a law that got passed in 2006). Now, in order to make ends meet, the USPS has started their own clothing line called…. drum roll please… “Rain Heat & Snow.”
The name is based off of the unofficial Postal Service motto, written on the James Farley Post Office in New York City.
Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.
Except on Saturdays.
To be honest, it isn’t much of a surprise that they’ve decided to open their own clothing line. After all, the postal uniform has always been kinda sharp. Anyone remember when they did something like this on Project Runway season one?
