Texas carjacker ‘messes with the wrong witch,’ gets run over
On Friday, Dorothy Baker-Flugence and her kids got into her car in a CVS parking lot when the Baytown family discovered a man creeping in the back seat. Suspect Ismael Martinez broke into the car, which had faulty locks, held a knife to her kids and asked that she drive around and withdraw from multiple ATMs. That’s when the Texas mom brought the fury.
“You don’t come after people with kids,” Baker-Flugence told her local ABC news affiliate, “and I told him that he messed with the wrong … witch.”
While on the road, Baker-Flugence wrestled with Martinez in the car. Biting, scratching and a knife slash across her chest ensued before the witch was able to fling the man from her car. In an attempt to either keep the suspect from running or just get away from the madness herself, Baker-Flugence hit the man with her car. He was pinned down in agony until the police arrived. “I didn’t mean to run him over,” she said. “I was just trying to stop him so he wouldn’t hurt anybody else.”
Martinez is facing multiple felony charges, and Baker-Flugence’s act of bravery made national news on Sunday. See below:
