Is Banksy’s tribute to 9/11 heartwarming or disturbing?
On Tuesday morning, street artist Banksy revealed on Instagram his latest creation in this month’s surreptitious NYC residence, a tribute to the World Trade Center September 11 attack, located at the corner of Jay and Staple St. in Tribeca, Manhattan.
Commenters from around the globe are debating on his Instagram whether the piece is “awesome” or “sloppy” or “olha a q ele fez hj!” Others ask, does the spray-painted flower on the North Tower represent a heartwarming memorial or an incendiary plane crashing through the skyscraper moments before its collapse?
