Televangelist Joel Osteen’s deleted tweet on when to ‘rub it out’
Houston-based pastor Joel Osteen wanted to share a bit of wisdom with his 2.1 million followers on Twitter, but the message didn’t quite come out like he had planned.
Apparently unaware of one of the more common euphemisms for jerking off, the bestselling author decided to delete said tweet after his church bullshit resulted in inappropriate wordplay. “A true friend walks in when everybody else walks out,” Osteen tweeted on Thursday afternoon. “A true friend doesn’t rub it in when you make a mistake. They rub it out.”
But don’t worry, Osteen. The Internet has your back. Screenshot of deleted tweet below.
