The Social Network Finally Gets An Official Trailer

has finally premiered an official trailer (Now with actual film footage!.) And it looks like one hell of a film that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is not going to enjoy.

Let’s just say that it’s not coincidence that the music behind the trailer is a lilting and somber chorus version of Radiohead’s “Creep.” The viewers know Zuckerberg is a creep, and so do Sorkin and Fincher. That is the point—look at this little rich man of ruin.

Zuckerberg portrayed by Jesse Eisenberg is a defiant, yet quiet creep—scheming in the background to uplift his social life. Other slime-balls include Justin Timberlake as the scheming Sean Parker and an assortment of Harvard snooty boys. But assholes make for great movies, and we should be looking at this film as a contender when Oscar season rolls around next year.

The Social Network is out on October 1. Look for the trailer after the jump.
