Monks play in the snow, have massive snowball fight

So, it turns out that being a monk isn’t all pious devotion and silent reflection. Sometimes, you get to run around in the aftermath of a winter snow and throw snowballs at another monk’s head. That’s exactly what these unsuspecting Franciscan monks were doing in Jerusalem.

Of course, there’s a reason they’re so excited. The storm, which took place last Thursday night, was the first time Jerusalem had seen snow since the ’90s. No wonder these guys look like they’re having the time of their lives.
