TwitTracks: Review Weezer’s ‘Hurley’ for Us!

Weezer’s new record ‘Hurley’ began streaming exclusively on Myspace last night. Do you like it?

We’re starting a new experiment today: it’s a new column called TwitTracks, where we’ll ask you to review new music over Twitter. Who cares what we think? We want to know what you think.

Sometimes we’ll point you to new music that’s just started streaming online, and sometimes we’ll get you exclusive access to music that hasn’t been released at all yet. We’ll ask you to review them for us over Twitter, and we’ll publish the results.

Just send your thoughts to us at @DeathAndTaxes. We’ll take our favorites (best, worst, funniest, most slanderous, etc.) publish them with an aggregate score from your homies.

Weezer’s new record ‘Hurley‘ seems to be as good a place as any to start. Everyone seems to have an opinion about it, from the cover (Is it a bad joke, or a brilliant, Andy Kaufman joke?) to the tunes. @Vulture and @StereoGum seem to like it just fine.

So, what do you think? Stream it at Myspace and let us know! (@DeathAndTaxes)
