Ever wanted to play poker with Thurston Moore, shoot craps with Stephen Malkmus, or have a drink with Cat Power at the legendary Ghostbar? None of these things will ever happen. However, all these people an more big names in indie rock will be playing at The Palms Resort and Casino as a part of Matador’s Lost Weekend music festival.
To celebrate turning 21, Matador is doing what most just-turned 21-year-olds do: party in Vegas!
This October, Matador Records will be throwing a three day festival in Las Vegas featuring pretty much every indie band you’ve been wanting to see or have ever seen. To make things even weirder, they’re throwing this thing at the super-hip, super-elite Palms Casino.
The festival, called Lost Weekend, is Oct 1-3. Matador just released the line-up today. They also just released a few more general admission tickets through a lottery, but if you didn’t get that e-mail this morning you might just be shit out of luck by now, my friend. Here’s what the line-up looks like.
