Wiz Khalifa is in jail for marijuana possession, which is not surprising for someone who claims to spend $10,000 a month on weed.

The 22-year-old rapper, whose single “Black and Yellow” recently placed in the Billboard Top 100, was arrested on drug charges after playing a concert at East Carolina University. Apparently, police raided Wiz Khalifa‘s tour bus after they detected a pungent smell of marijuana emanating from the show’s backstage area.

Though a weed arrest is hardly out of the ordinary, and rather tame, for a young mainstream rapper (see: T.I., Lil’ Wayne), the apprehension is even less surprising when it deals with someone who’s boasted of spending $10,000 a month on marijuana and owns his own brand of rolling papers.

In addition to his infamous love for weed possibly tipping off local officers, Wiz couldn’t have helped himself by posting messages like “Smoke outs in Greenville NC tonite. Fall thru wit ur finest plant life,” on his twitter before arriving at the show. After posting $300,000 bail, Wiz took to his twitter again to profoundly express his feelings on prison, “Man, jail sux!”

Yes, Wiz, it certainly does.
