Ryan Adams releases the new track ‘Destroyers.’
Ryan Adams and the Cardinals will release ‘Cardinals III/IV’ on December 14, and to celebrate, Adams has just released a new track, ‘Destroyer,’ joining the likes of Robyn and Girl Talk who have been blessing the internet with good free new music lately.
As Consequence of Sound points out, ‘Cardinals III/IV’ will be Adams’ “second double-album concept rock opera about the 80’s, ninjas, cigarettes, sex, and pizza.”
Sounds like a party. “Destroyers,” however, will not make an appearance on the album, so rather than being a sneak-peek of the album itself, think of this as a sneak peek at what Adams is up to these days. (Hint: it ain’t metal.)
