Kanye and Jay-Z’s track “That’s My Bitch” leaked just a day after Kanye’s new record released.
Just a day after Kanye West released his new record “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” to universal accolades (and an obsequious “10″ score from Pitchfork) and a week after the release of Jay-Z’s lauded memoir “Decoded,” the duo leaks “That’s My Bitch,” an advance track from the album they’re recording together “Watch The Throne.” The forthcoming record is apparently already at least half completed.
And this is all “post-retirement” for Jay-Z. These two guys have to be some of the most prolific artists anywhere—they’re giving Guided by Voices’ Robert Pollard a run for his money.
After a half-dozen cursory listens this morning, we’ve decided “That’s My Bitch” is fully bitchin’. Produced by Q-Tip and with a cameo from La Roux, its up-tempo rapid-fire pace is pretty irresistible.
