TSA Gone Wild: Strip Searches Young Boy & Humiliates Elderly Cancer Survivor (Video)

Transportation Security Agency is in the news again for strip-searching an elderly cancer survivor, breaking his urostomy bag leaving him covered in urine. The agents did not apologize.

Thomas D. Sawyer, 61, was on his way to a wedding in Orlando, Florida when TSA agents pulled him aside for an enhanced molestation full body pat down. Sawyer was left humiliated, crying and covered in his own urine.

Sawyer is a bladder cancer survivor who must wear a urostomy bag that collects urine from an opening in his abdomen. “I have to wear special clothes and in order to mount the bag I have to seal a wafer to my stomach and then attach the bag. If the seal is broken, urine can leak all over my body and clothes.”

In early November, Sawyer went through security at Detroit Metropolitan Airport, passing through the full body scanner. He was then chosen for a full body pat down for which he asked to have in private due to his medical condition.

“One officer looked at another, rolled his eyes and said that they really didn’t have any place to take me. After I said again that I’d like privacy, they took me to an office,” Sawyer told reporters.

Before the agents started the pat down Sawyer repeatedly warned them of his medical condition—that breaking the seal would cause urine to spill all over.

“One agent watched as the other used his flat hand to go slowly down my chest. I tried to warn him that he would hit the bag and break the seal on my bag, but he ignored me. Sure enough, the seal was broken and urine started dribbling down my shirt and my leg and into my pants.”

The agents tested the urine for explosives and then told Sawyer to pull up his pants and leave.

“He told me I could go. They never apologized. They never offered to help. They acted like they hadn’t seen what happened. But I know they saw it because I had a wet mark.”

Sawyer, had to walk through the airport and board his plane without having the chance to clean up. He is now suing the TSA—rightfully so.

In other TSA news, a seven-year-old boy was recently stripped searched at Salt Lake City International airport. Clearly, the young Caucasian boy was carrying out a master plan to blow up the Pentagon. In the disturbing video, you can see TSA agents take off the shirt of the visibly terrified boy and then continue to pat him down.

In the video, taken by another passenger, you can hear one man ask another, “They harassing a kid now?” To which the other man replies, “Yup.” In the back ground among the child’s cries you can hear other comments, “this is ridiculous” and “unbelievable.”

Recently, former governor and likely 2012 presidential candidate, Mike Huckabee went on Fox News to denounce the rampant intrusion of our privacy. During the show he called for president Obama to take his family through Reagan airport and have them submit to TSA intrusion tactics.

“If he thinks this is an appropriate way for us to deal with security as he has defended, then I’ve said, ‘OK, Mr. Obama, take your wife, your two daughters and your mother-in-law to Washington Reagan National Airport and have them publicly go through both the body scanner and the full enhanced pat-down in front of others,’” Huckabee said in an interview on ”Fox and Friends.”

“‘If it’s okay for your wife, your daughters, and your mother-in-law, then maybe the rest of us won’t feel so bad when our wives, our daughters and our mothers are being put through this humiliating and degrading, totally unconstitutional, intrusion of their privacy.’”

Something clearly needs to be done about the TSA—if not the next airport bomb may be directed at them.
