Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Release Debut Single

“Beat the Devil’s Tattoo,” the first single from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, debuted today on Spinner.  It was written and recorded the night before their album was supposed to be mastered – they had to scramble in order to be able to include it.  It’s a little dirge-like for my tastes, but what do you guys think about it?  Was it worth the mad rush the band had to do to get it onto the album?
