Jon Stewart Debates Rape vs. Rape-Rape

The GOP wants to limit federal funding for abortions to cases of “forcible rape.” Jon Stewart and Kristen Schaal discuss the differences between rape, rape-rape, and rape-ish.

Jon Stewart is quick to point out that “all rape is forcible.” According to Schaal and apparently the GOP, “the free abortion ride is over.”

Schaal continues—statutory rape is isn’t rape, it’s “rape-esque,” date rape is “rape with benefits,” and raping someone who is not conscious is a “rape-mare.”

Questions like whether a woman is “dressed slutty” determine “what is rape-rape and what is merely rape-ish,” she explained. “And I don’t think hard-earned tax dollars should go to women who’ve only been rape-ished.”

Congress is redefining rape to protect us from the worst kind of rape: money rape—that’s forcible taking of taxpayer’s money to pay for abortions,” Schaal explained to Stewart.
