Michel Gondry‘s latest music video was done in the service of the Living Sisters, a group consisting of L.A. Betty Crocker hipster Becky Stark, Inara George of the Bird and the Bee, and Eleni Mandell.

The video is split into a triptych, with Stark occupying the left frame, George the middle and Mandell the right.  Gondry has the girls moving from opening scenes of frying eggs, feeling a pregnant belly and an airplane in a storm, to more and more absurd disasters until it looks like  war is going on (Gondry-style).

Gondry’s work on “How Are You Doing” recalls some of past music video work, such as Björk’s “Human Behavior,” as well as some of the innovative trick photography found in his films “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” “The Science of Sleep” and “Be Kind Rewind.”
