In continued support of their latest release Fantasies, Metric has announced a short run of headlining tour dates set for March on the west coast. The Canadian co-ed quartet have been creating a buzz with their latest aforementioned release, which you can snag here. Metric has also joined the Music For Relief organization in an effort to give immediate aid to the suffering people of Haiti in the form of food, water, emergency medical supplies and long-term sustainable housing solutions. Metric joins Linkin Park, Dave Mathews Band, Alanis Morissette, Slash, The All-American Rejects, Lupe Fiasco, Weezer and a bunch of other acts on a compilation album of unreleased tracks for the Music for Relief and the Download to Donate campaign. All the money that is raised through donations will be used to help earthquake victims in Haiti. The album is up for free download here, but don’t forget to donate after you download it.
