During their show at the Pheonix Theater in Petaluma, California last night, Animal Collective debuted several new songs. Luckily everyone brings their video-recording phones to concerts and there are a handful of pretty decent clips posted online.
The band still hasn’t released any details about a follow-up to their 2009 album “Merriweather Post Pavilion,” but at least now it’s abundantly clear they’ve been working on new material. They’re on tour on their way to play Coachella in Indio, California, this Saturday. Panda Bear‘s solo album comes out tomorrow.
