blogSoundgarden0110The knights of the Soundtable ride again! Or so Chris Cornell tweeted way back in late December, and the wordsmith's decree is finally coming to fruition. After a 12 year hiatus, the band is back to being productive, rereleasing its first single in collaboration with Sub Pop on orange vinyl (so grunge!). "Hunted Down" will take A-side honors while B goes to "Nothing to Say," the track that guitarist Kim Thayil recalls as delivering the boys their big break. The band will also be releasing a live version of "Spoonman," taken from personal two inch tape recordings of a 1996 San Diego show. The Sub Pop single will be available on April 17 and is being released in conjunction with Record Store Day, more information on which is available here
