Record Store Day announced a re-release of Modest Mouse's The Moon and Antarctica, Record Store Day announced a re-release of Modest Mouse’s The Moon and Antarctica, which will be available on April 17th along with countless other noteworthy pressings. To celebrate the album’s 10th anniversary, the band opted to remaster its tracks and re-release it on vinyl with the original track-listing.
Other Record Store Day releases include vinyl pressings from Deerhoof, Neko Case, Sonic Youth, Ted Leo & the Pharmacists, Passion Pit, Tom Waits, and Sea Wolf. There will also be new music from Holy Steady, Deftones, and Gogol Bordello, to name a few. I am particularly excited to hear Bon Iver and Peter Gabriel cover each other.
