Joey Armstrong’s band Emily’s Army will release their debut album “Don’t Be a Dick” on June 15th via Billie Joe’s Adeline Records.

Joey Armstron (second from the left) mans the drums, with Max Becker on bass, Cole Becker on vocals/guitar, and Travis Neumann on lead guitar.

The first single, “Broadcast This” is about how music on the radio sucks these days. It sounds a bit like Green Day, which isn’t surprising since Billie Joe produced the album.

“It’s well played, has great hooks and is catchy as hell,” says daddy Armstrong. Sounds about right.
