Malcolm McLaren, former manager of the Sex Pistols and punk impresario, passed away this morning at age 64. McLaren died from complications from cancer, which he had been battling for years, at a New York area hospital.

Despite a few rumors that Jay Reatard’s death was being investigated as a potential homicide, his death has been ruled to be a tragic result of “cocaine toxicity and…alcohol,” according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal.
