Kraftwerk to release ‘The Catalogue’ boxset through MoMA

From April 10 to 17, Kraftwerk will be presenting “Retrospective 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8,” a series of concerts at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) that will combine sound and 3D imagery from their eight studio albums, covering the years 1974 to 2003.

To commemorate these MoMA shows, Kraftwerk is teaming with Astralwerks and MoMA to release “The Catalogue” boxset. According to a press release, it will include: “8 remastered CDs in ‘mini-vinyl’ card wallet packaging, plus individual large format booklets. However, this time, the set will come packaged in a black box and will be made available as an individually numbered, worldwide limited edition of 2,000 copies.”

This boxset will be sold at two NYC locations—MoMA’s store in Manhattan and the PS1 store in Long Island City. It will also be made available on MoMA’s ecommerce store..
