TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek remixes Norah Jones

Norah Jones’ new record “….Broken Little Hearts” was an unexpected surprise. Produced by Danger Mouse, the landscape explores territory we didn’t expect from Jones, occupying dark sonic corners of moodiness. Now Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio (and, bizarrely, dude is in Jane’s Addiction now, too) offers remixes of two of the tracks, taking an already unexpected sonic terrain into even more interesting territory.

Released for Record Store Day, Sitek’s remixes have a dark, echoey sound almost reminiscent of Portishead, while still keeping the melodic body of the originals intact. Take a listen to “Just 22″ and “After the Fall” below, and check out a our review of “…Broken Little Hearts” here.
