The Brooklyn Nets unveil new logo, stadium, website

A literal hop, skip, and a jump away from my apartment is a giant construction site that has been busy for the last long while — building the new Brooklyn Nets stadium (a.k.a. Barclay’s Center) just to the north of the Park Slope neighborhood, to the east of downtown Brooklyn, and south of Fort Greene.

Perfectly situated in the best part of Brooklyn (sorry, Williamsburg, you’re played out), the Brooklyn Nets are co-owned by none other than rap impresario Jay-Z. Naturally, the Nets being somewhat a Jay-Z production, the design aspect of the Brooklyn Nets is spectacular right down to their black and white color motif. They also have a fancy new website.

Snazzy coding, bros! (Pretend I never typed that.)

The Brooklyn Nets, of course, were up until very recently the New Jersey Nets. Still hankering for some of that NJ memorabilia? It’s all still available for a deeply discounted price. God knows you really need that New Jersey Nets throw rug.

Check out some of the Brooklyn Nets merch at their official online store or take a look at some of the pictures and video below we found.
