Feist and Mastodon release interactive ‘A Commotion’ video

Feist and Mastodon have just released a digital version of their 7” vinyl single “A Commotion” / “Black Tongue” today via Cherrytree/Interscope and Warner Brothers Records.

The “Feistodon” split-single was originally released on Record Store Day this past April, and it features Feist’s cover of Mastodon’s “Black Tongue” with Mastodon then covering Feist’s “A Commotion.”

Now the two have released an interactive music video for “A Commotion,” directed by Vice Cooler. The video, which utilizes HTML5, lets users crossfade between Feist and Mastodon’s versions of “A Commotion,” in the process allowing users to make their own unique versions of the song. The video itself is pretty awesome. It finds Feist looking beautiful as always but wrecking shit heavy metal style and looking generally like a lunatic.

Head over to ListenToFeist.com to experiment with the interactive video.
