Bradford Cox and Cole Alexander revive Ghetto Cross, release new song ‘Still’
Our favorite interviewee teams up with our favorite bad-ass for an awesome song. Bradford Cox (Deerhunter) and Cole Alexander (Black Lips) reform their side project Ghetto Cross and release a new song “Still”.
Cox says about the song, “It is about the relationship that develops between two young boys, one of whom is autistic and cannot talk, and the other who is an outcast and beaten by his emotionally manipulative father.”
The song combines what we love about both artists: Alexander’s raspy voice moans along to a sad emotional guitar riff.
Ghetto Cross looks to release an album late fall. Check out the song “Still” Below.
