Finally, the ‘Entourage’ movie that everyone was asking for

After two long years of an “Entourage”-less world, finally our prayers have been answered. Yes, the powers that be have deemed it so: Vince, Ari, Turtle, Thingy, and Other Guy will be making a return to the screen. Only this time… (record stop sound) it’s the silver screen. Aw yeaaaaah. Aw yeaaaaah. Aw yeaaaaaaah.

Remember that HBO show “Entourage” that ran from 2004 to 2011? No? Well, remember Adrien Grenier? Maybe? Well, remember Jeremy Piven’s career? No, not PCU – after that. Well, remember that catchy theme song? No? Well, remember the mid 2000s when shit like Von Dutch and Ed Hardy was inexplicably popular for no good reason? Well, this show summed all that up. It encapsulated the best of times and the worst of times. Sort of like a Dickins novel for people that can’t read.

The ABC News article perhaps frames it best:

The film will be directed by the show’s creator, Doug Ellin, who was also the executive producer along with Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson. The series’ stars — Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Dillion and Jeremy Piven — are all working to close deals for the film.

There is no word yet on a plot.
